On February 25, 2016, William Janhonen of Home Energy Technologies gave an excellent presentation on the code requirements for IECC testing of air sealing, insulation and duct testing, all part of the current certificate of occupancy requirements under the 2009 IECC/IRC code.  He discussed the results of testing hundreds of homes throughout the state and gave a “boots on the ground” analysis of what works and what doesn’t work when it comes to air sealing and duct sealing using actual tested homes.
