SUMMARY: Initiates, coordinates, and executes administrative and other project support to Sales Manager/team including providing Customer Service to the Company’s Customers.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Answers telephone calls in a professional and timely manner; provides requested information with a high degree of professionalism and courtesy.

· Exercises considerable judgement and discretion in handling customer inquiries.

· Composes, types, formats, and distributes professional correspondence in response to internal and external customers.

· Reviews order management system for new orders and purchases the orders for assigned sales representatives following company guidelines

· Schedules and Confirms customer deliveries based on product receipt dates

· Collects balances due from customers and ensures COD’s are documented for drivers’ to collect

· Ensures load lists are generated and are complete for the picking team daily

· Prepares Shipping Manifest and Delivery Tickets for Delivery Team

· Files and tracks credit from manufacturer for product warranty

· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent, three to five years related experience, or

equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Proficient on Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

SUMMARY: Directs the activities of warehouse personnel involved in the receiving of various products into the facility, movements of product within the facility, and the picking and loading of product shipping out of the facility; ensures that all policies and procedures are followed.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Supervises all shipping, receiving, and packing room activities performed by warehouse crew; maintains a high degree of visibility and access to employees on warehouse floor throughout the shift.

· Establishes and maintains department standards for productivity, reliability, and accuracy.

· Reviews, prioritizes, and organizes all orders to be picked and/or shipped during shift.

· Forecasts crewing needs to meet peak demands of the business and staff team accordingly; hires, trains, motivates, coaches, rewards, and disciplines crew being supervised; resolves personnel issues.

· Assigns duties and monitors quality of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and governmental regulations.

· Coordinates with the warehouse manager to manage personnel issues including but not limited to vacation approvals, time card approval, daily and weekly overtime, hiring, and training.

· Leads crew by example by loading trucks and/or performing other duties as necessary.

· Monitors email and communicates and coordinates with managers.

· Assists warehouse manager with development and implementation of policies and procedures; ensures all established policies and procedures are followed by crew.

· Assists with inventory activities; supervises inventory control process including but not limited to check-in/check-out, settlement, and inventory reconciliation.

· Oversees the sanitation activities performed in the warehouse.

· Resolves warehouse-related issues with representatives from other department throughout the company.

· Maintains a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area.

· Maintains safety programs and all required safety training for the crew.

· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Directly supervises Receiving and Shipping employees within the Warehouse department.

· Indirectly supervises Drivers and Helpers employees within the Delivery department.

· Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

· Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Five years related experience or equivalent.

· Strong inventory control skills.

· Knowledge of warehouse operations best practices.

· Forklift certified.

· Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates
