Peter Gaboriault of Bear Paw Builders of Wilton, is the new President of The Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Fairfield County

September 3, 2014 Peter Gaboriault, Builder/Developer in Wilton has been elected as President of the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Fairfield County (HBRA). Gaboriault was inducted along with senior officers and board members at a ceremony held on September 3, 2014 at the Norwalk Inn & Conference Center in Norwalk.

Before becoming president, Gaboriault served as Senior Vice President and has served on the HBRA Board of Directors for ten years.  He was awarded 2013 Builder of the Year, as well as serving on numerous committees within the organization.

Peter began building homes in Fairfield County in 1988, later incorporating into Bear Paw Builders in 1994. He is certified by the National Association of Homebuilders as a Certified Green Professional.  He was born and raised in Fairfield County.

Today, Peter continues at the helm of Bear Paw Builders with Partner Steve Pearsall. Steve joined Bear Paw Builders in 2000 and has been integral to the company’s expansion and growth with his background in law and finance. Both Peter and Steve reside with their families in the Westport/Wilton, CT area.

The Bear Paw name derives from a small mountain range in north-central Montana that reflects the company’s goal to build projects that possess a sound foundation and guarantee longevity.

Headquartered in Fairfield, The Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Fairfield County (HBRA), part of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), is dedicated to representing and advancing the interests of the home building, remodeling and land development industries in Fairfield County, as well as providing consumers that it serves with dedicated, qualified building industry professionals.
