Fairfield, CT, March 30, 2015 –   The Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Fairfield County (HBRA), an association that represents and advances the interests of the home building, remodeling and land development industries in Fairfield County since 1947 has announced the selection of Gina Calabro as its new executive officer.  Gina will fill the vacancy created by Christina McFarland’s departure.   The selection was made after a comprehensive regional search and selection process.

“We are very pleased to announce this appointment,” reported Peter Gaboriault, and HBRA of Fairfield County’s Board President.  “Gina will bring leadership and creativity to HBRA’s programs and a deep sense of commitment to our local membership sector.  She has served non-profits and not-for-profits at all program, fundraising, executive and leadership levels, and has a breadth of perspective and experience.”

Gina’s resume includes over 25 years of executive planning, administration, communications and marketing experience in both the private and non-profit sectors. Gina previously was the Director of Membership and Marketing for the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities, the statewide association of the municipal government leaders. She has also served as the Board President of the Literacy Volunteers of Valley Shore and the Old Saybrook Chamber of Commerce.
